Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Our cancellation policy can be found on the cancellation policy page.  

Q: Can I register for a class and pay with a purchase order?

A: Yes. Select "Purchase Order" as the payment method at checkout. All payments must be completed before the start of class. In the event you need a quote/invoice prior to the issuance of a purchase order, send an email to Contact@MyLegalAuthority.com and we can send you whatever you need. 

Q: Can I attend training on my own time or do I need to be sponsored by my police    department?

A: You are able to register and attend on your own time. Department information is collected during registration for internal records only. 

Q: Who can attend training?

A: We are a law enforcement training company, therefore we only allow members of law enforcement to attend training. You must be an active law enforcement officer with arrest powers (Police, Sheriff, Agent, etc.) or a prosecutor (District Attorney, Attorney General, etc.) in order to attend our training classes. 

Q: What do I need to bring to class?

A: Please bring your law enforcement identification for a 100% ID check at the door. You're welcome to bring a notebook to take notes. We encourage attendees to take notes during class. Please note that you will receive the course material via email following the class. 

Q: Can I transfer my seat in class to another officer?

A: Absolutely. If you are unable to attend and wish to transfer your seat to another officer, send us an email at Contact@MyLegalAuthority.com with your name, course date,  and name/email/phone number of the officer taking your seat. If a last minute change is necessary, the replacement officer can simply show up at class and inform the instructor of the change.

Q: Will I receive a certificate for attending?

A: Yes. Certificates will be emailed to you following completion of the class. If you utilized a government email to register for the class, please check your spam folder for the email containing an attachment.
